Greater Morgantown Area

Morgantown,WV is one of the fastest growing areas in West Virginia and is home to the largest institution of higher education in the state, West Virginia University.

There are many large organizations that call Monongalia County, the county in which Morgantown is located, home. Because of organizations such as West Virginia University, the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), and Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Monongalia County continually posts one of the lowest unemployment rates in West Virginia.
