Monongalia County Schools strive to help children reach their full potential both as students and responsible, productive citizens in society.
Students are provided with a safe and enjoyable learning environment in which creativity is fostered and numerous academic and extracurricular activities allow opportunities for success.
Kindergarten through fifth grade students living in the Sleepy Hollow Residential Development will attend Ridgedale Elementary located just ten minutes from the development. Sixth through eighth grade students will attend South Middle School, and high School students will attend Morgantown High School.
Morgantown is also home to the largest institution of higher educaiton in the state, West Virginia University. WVU provides 170 degree programs for nearly 24,000 students from all parts of the world.
